Sebastian and I enjoyed a 30 minute run through the neighborhood and my super fly new yellow running shoes.

mail's here!

P90X finally arrived in the mail.
I did my first workout--it was haaaaard. I had to take several unscheduled breaks and occasionally do the "modified" exercise but it was very cool to check out my heart rate monitor at the end of it all and see this:

That says 603 calories!!!

back at it...this time i mean it

Monday I returned home from a quick trip to Nicaragua and I told myself, "self, its time to get your mind, body, and spirit in the FRIGGIN GAME ALREADY!"

Hanging out in 85+ degrees for a few days really motivated me, and by that I mean...wearing a bathing suit and shorts and tanks scared me for what could be if I didn't kick it into gear and FAST! Winter is officially over in San Diego and summer will probably be here THIS WEEKEND...she's not far from you guys either.

Monday I slept a lot...which might not be a workout, but guess what i'm not doing when i'm sleeping...EATING.
Tuesday I went to yoga class
Wednesday I...rested?
Thursday I went to cycling class (talk about SWEATY)
This morning I went to pilates class (i have a feeling my abs will be crying tomorrow)
I'm feeling better in so many ways already. Now I just have to keep it up.

Justin's been pumping lots of iron and eating better too...last night he told me he lost 9lbs in a week. oooh to be a 26 year old male. I think I MIGHT have dropped 1 lb...not that its a competition, but its not NOT a competition.

February check in...

Good morning, Family!  Hanging in there with Johnny's diet...I was doing so well and then Friday got the creeping crud that has been going around at work...sore throat, stuffy, coughing, sneezing.  Kinda blew the diet for comfort food...sometimes you just gotta do it! 

My left hip has completely given out - no more treadmill or walking.  I have to go to the doctor this week to get it MRI'd.  Meanwhile, Timmy convinced me to try the elliptical (hate that thing) and the first few days I could go for 5 minutes - in two weeks I am up to 30 minutes!!!  No hip hurt...I do 15 minute then go do my weights then another 15 minutes after...I tell you what, getting old sucks & 15 years of ballet didn't help.

Lost 11 pounds since January 9th...32 to go!
